Game (DOWNLOAD)
Boxycraft is a physics-based puzzle platform game, where you play as a character called Box Boy and use his skills of running, jumping, grabbing, swinging, pushing or pulling objects to make your way through the levels.
2 Players can play together on the same computer, helping each other out and working together to finish the stage.
Boxycraft is made using Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition, the Physics2D.NET physics engine and DirectX9.

Find ich super gut. Und Grafik- alter- scheiß egal. Wenn das spielprinzip passt. Und die bewegungen, physik und spielspass schaut videotechnisch ganz gut aus. ich lad mir mal die demo, aber bin überzeugt, dass sie gut ist!

The 2 in-game tracks are:
– “Stay Strumming”, by i am this
– “Station-Ska”, by Skastation

Do you mean how do you create your own levels?
If so that is a feature that I am working on, but I haven’t released yet. I’m glad you’re interested though, and I really am working hard on getting it to run flawlessly. Cheers!

I think Ive finished all the main coding for the engine, but I’m still fixing bugs and making it all look good.I honestly can’t say how long thats going to take.
Im working hard to get it out as soon as I can, but Id rather spend a bit more time than release an ugly/buggy version.

hey, awesome game.. got it with NAG coverdisc 😛 dude i had vista ok, and it ran perfectly. i upgraded to 7, now it just says boxycraft stopped working before it even started!! any help

Thats awesome that Boxycraft is on the NAG coverdisk! Have a look at the “Console.txt” file, it might tell you more about the error. I haven’t tried it on W7 before.

No, I won’t be releasing the game’s source, but the scripts will be modifiable and expose a lot of the engines capabilities.

As long as you also have DirectX 9 runtimes on the computer, it should work.
If you have a fresh install of Windows Vista/7 you will probably have to install DX 9 before you can play it.
